Itinerary

Welcome to Kathmandu, the gateway to the Himalayas! As soon as you land at Tribhuvan International Airport, our friendly team will be there to greet you with a warm welcome and whisk you away to your hotel. Once you’re settled in, it’s time to dive into the vibrant pulse of the city! Stroll through lively markets, sample delicious local cuisine, or simply unwind and soak in the energetic atmosphere of this fascinating metropolis. The adventure is just beginning! Accomodation: Hotel Meals: Welcome Dinner
Rise and shine for an early morning flight to Lukla (2,860m) from Ramechaap! This exhilarating flight is the perfect way to kick off your trek, offering jaw-dropping aerial views of the majestic Himalayas—an adventure in itself. Upon landing in Lukla, your trek begins with a leisurely walk through charming Sherpa villages on the way to Phakding (2,610m). The trail gently winds along the Dudh Kosi River, providing a peaceful yet invigorating start to your journey while allowing your body to acclimatise. End your first day in the mountains with a restful night at a cozy teahouse in Phakding, surrounded by the tranquil beauty of the Himalayas. Accomodation: Tea House Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
Today’s trek to Namche Bazaar (3,440m) will take you even deeper into the stunning Khumbu region. Along the way, you’ll cross a series of iconic suspension bridges draped in colorful prayer flags, while winding through dense pine forests that add to the mystical feel of the journey. As you approach Namche, the lively “capital” of the Khumbu, the excitement builds—this is where you’ll catch your first awe-inspiring view of the legendary Mt. Everest. Namche Bazaar itself is a vibrant Sherpa town, bustling with energy and brimming with opportunities to shop for unique local goods, enjoy delicious meals, or simply unwind in a cozy café. It’s the perfect place to relax and take in the breathtaking surroundings after a rewarding day of trekking. Accomodation: Tea House Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
Take a well-deserved rest day in Namche for acclimatization. This is your chance to soak in the incredible views and dive deeper into the rich culture of the region. For an unforgettable experience, hike up to the Everest View Hotel, where you’ll be treated to panoramic vistas of Everest, Lhotse, and Ama Dablam—some of the most iconic peaks on the planet. Explore the fascinating Sherpa Culture Museum and the Everest Photo Gallery to gain a deeper understanding of the history, traditions, and resilience of the local Sherpa people. This day isn’t just about rest—it’s a chance to embrace the beauty of your surroundings, while helping your body adjust to the altitude for a smoother journey ahead.
Trek to Tengboche (3,870m), known for its iconic monastery, the largest in the Khumbu region. The trail offers magnificent views of the Himalayan giants. Once at Tengboche, visit the monastery, where you may observe a Buddhist ceremony. The area is serene, with the monastery set against a backdrop of Ama Dablam, Everest, and other peaks.
Continue your journey to Dingboche (4,360m), a trek that will take you through lush forests and alpine meadows before the landscape begins to shift. As you ascend, the vegetation thins and the terrain becomes more rugged, offering a true sense of adventure as the altitude rises. Dingboche, known as the “summer valley,” is a stunning stop with incredible views of Lhotse, Island Peak, and the iconic Ama Dablam. It’s not just a scenic haven—this village serves as an important acclimatization stop, giving you the perfect opportunity to adjust to the altitude. Take advantage of nearby hikes to help your body acclimate and ensure you’re fully prepared for the challenging days ahead. The beauty of this place, combined with the fresh mountain air, will leave you energized and ready for the next leg of your epic trek.
From Dingboche, begin your ascent to Lobuche (4,940m), a powerful stretch of the trek that takes you through a landscape both haunting and beautiful. Along the way, you’ll pass solemn memorials dedicated to climbers who have lost their lives on the surrounding peaks—an emotional reminder of the raw power and danger of these mountains. As you push onward, the terrain becomes increasingly rugged, with dramatic rocky landscapes that make you feel like you’re on another planet. Lobuche sits beneath the towering Lobuche East and West peaks, offering awe-inspiring views of Pumori and other mighty Himalayan giants. The air gets thinner, the scenery more epic—this is the true essence of trekking in the Himalayas.
Trek from Lobuche to Gorak Shep (5,164m), the final stop before Everest Base Camp. After settling in, continue to Everest Base Camp (5,364m). Standing at the base of the world’s highest mountain provides a profound sense of achievement. Explore the area, visit the tents of various expeditions (during the climbing season), and enjoy the surreal environment of this famous site.
Set out early in the morning for a challenging yet rewarding hike to Kala Patthar (5,545m) to witness a breathtaking sunrise over Mt. Everest and the surrounding peaks. This is the ultimate vantage point in the region, where the first rays of sunlight bathe the towering mountains in a golden glow—an experience that will stay with you forever. After soaking in the awe-inspiring views, descend to Lukla in style with a thrilling helicopter ride. This exhilarating flight not only saves you time but also offers an entirely new perspective of the Himalayas as you soar above the stunning landscape, taking in the grandeur of the mountains one last time. A perfect end to an unforgettable journey!
After your helicopter descent to Lukla, you’ll catch a flight back to Kathmandu, marking the final leg of your epic adventure. The flight from Lukla to Kathmandu offers one last chance to marvel at the Himalayan peaks from the air, as you soar back towards the vibrant city below. As the plane descends into Kathmandu, you’ll be filled with a sense of accomplishment and awe, reflecting on the incredible journey you’ve just completed in the shadow of Everest. Once back in Kathmandu, you can unwind, explore the city, or simply relax after your life-changing trek.
This day is reserved as a buffer in case of bad weather, ensuring you have a safe and stress-free return flight to Kathmandu. If not needed, it can be used to explore Lukla or start your journey back early.
As your journey in Nepal comes to a close, it’s time to say goodbye to this incredible land of mountains, culture, and adventure. Whether you’re reflecting on the majestic views of Everest, the warm smiles of the Sherpa people, or the unforgettable moments along the trail, Nepal has likely left a permanent mark on your heart. Take one last look at the Himalayas as you head to the airport, knowing you’ll carry the spirit of this beautiful country with you wherever you go. Until next time, Nepal—thank you for the memories, the challenges, and the breathtaking beauty that will stay with us forever. Safe travels, and we hope to see you again!
